Truck Racing by Renault Trucks is a first-person driving simulator. You can choose from different game modes, such as free run, race non-player trucks, or multiplayer mode.
First, in order to receive a download link, you are requested to register on gameseed.fr. You will receive a confirmation email with an activation code, and an email with your serial number and the download link.
Before entering a free run or a race, you can choose the truck you will be driving, having the option to view it in 2D or 3D. There are four racing tracks, with a few pretty challenging curves at some points, which makes the gameplay more engaging. Nevertheless, the landscape could use a little more variance. Although you would expect a truck to be difficult to drive, the game does not really make you feel the difference from driving a regular small car. Still, if you have had the chance to see real Renault Trucks in a race, playing this game should prove to be quite a nice experience. Moreover, it will be greatly exciting to play this game in multiplayer mode, with up to 16 opponents being accepted in a race.
The system requirements include a 1.8GHz processor, 1GB RAM for Windows XP or 1.5GB RAM for Windows Vista, and 400 MB available disk space.
To conclude, Truck Racing by Renault Trucks is a entertaining racing game, because most people would find it pleasantly surprising just to see trucks involved in a race.
